I’ve always been inspired by art.
Written, musical, visual. - I loved it all. The turning point that amplified my love for art was the 2011, “Art in the Streets” exhibit in Los Angeles - featuring Banksy, Shepard Fairey, and (other artist). This was where I discovered Keith Haring, who is now one of my favorite artists. This exhibit not only challenged my perception of art, but also challenged the status quo by bringing street art into contemporary gallery space. Needless to say, I was inspired! As time went on, I continuously cultivated my love for art. To feed my curiosity, I watched documentaries, read books and visited museums - dreaming of the day when I’d own my favorite works. I desperately wanted to begin building my art collection, but in my mind, art was unattainable - too expensive and out of reach for a then, student.
My very first piece “Peacetrooper” by Brad Novak was a gift. When I finally had tangible art to call my own, I realized collecting art is indeed a realistic goal. Now, I have more than 20 pieces: a mix of original work, limited edition prints and books, sculptures, and apparel. Building my art collection over the past 5 years has been an exhilarating experience, and I’ve learned so much along the way. Most importantly, I’ve learned art is accessible to us all, we simply have to know where to look. This is where I come in. Consider me your art guide, here to share the knowledge I’ve acquired over the years and partner with you in helping developing a thriving art collection or enhancing your existing collection. I’m passionate about connecting people with art they love - regardless of budget or experience.
Let’s make you an art collector!
